- If you did not report to the probation department following court, you need to immediately contact the probation department.
- I have been placed on probation. Now what?
- Go to the probation department located in the Wayne County Municipal Court, 215 N. Grant Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Check in with the administrative assistant and remain in the waiting area until your name is called.
- Where do I go for probation appointments?
- You must keep your scheduled appointments. If you missed your appointment or need to reschedule your upcoming appointment, you must speak directly with your probation officer during regular business hours for a new appointment. Leaving a message is unacceptable.
- What if I miss an appointment?
- This means that your probation officer believes you have violated your probation. There are a total of three hearings. Notice for your appearance will be sent to the last address you provided to your probation officer.
- What if I receive a notice of a probation violation?
- Write a letter or motion to the judge explaining the situation and request additional time to pay. File the motion with the Wayne County Municipal Court Clerk's Office.
- I am unable to pay all of my fines and costs by the date sent by the Court. What do I do?
- Immediately notify your probation officer directly if there is any change in address or telephone number.
- What do I do if I change my address or telephone number?
- You shall not leave the State of Ohio without the permission of your probation officer.
- What if I need to travel out of the State of Ohio?
